We were so happy to be able to share in the webcast for the services for Paul. I will always remember him with his perpetual grin and his gentle ways. We were the Syracuse cousins: Joey, Paulie & Greg and Anthony, Chris, Paula & Rene. We spent Christmases and New Year's, Easters, 4th of Julys, graduations and everything in between together. So many happy times. And my father, Paul Corapi, always had a soft spot for Paul. We send you our deepest sympathies and we hope that the memories of Paul will comfort you always.

We have missed Mr & Mrs P since you left Greensboro and miss you even worse now. Paul was a good neighbor but also a good friend. Our families shared many Halloween’s and July 4th celebrations in the front yards. Memories that we all hold dear & we are blessed that our kids had Paul as their friend as well as Carry and I. There will never be another neighbor and friend like him and none better. Surely he’s looking down at us with JayJay & Gracie by his side and cracking that grin! Our lives were better to share such great times w him. Rest easy Paul...rest easy our friend.

Paul was a very kind soul with a great smile. We have many fond memories of Paul from back in the day. That's when kids were able to have fun. We all had fun together.

I’m so sorry to hear about Paul. I know how close your family was, especially the boys with their big brother Joey. As you know, I spent most my teen years hanging around with Paul. We were always together back then. We had a lot of fun growing up, out almost every night, sometimes up to no good! I have many memories working at Greggs restaurant, making ourselves breakfast after nights out on the weekend. We had a pretty good softball team back then too. We were a close group of friends that met out most nights at the basketball courts at Salem Hyde, and go from there. Sometimes on foot or Paul always managed to borrow a car. We lost touch as our lives went in different directions. I will always remember Paul as a great kid, fun to be with, and was always a good friend. Unfortunately due to Covid, Mary and I cannot attend the services but wanted to give you our condolences. May Paulie rest in peace. Mike and Mary Ilacqua
