Florence T. DePaulis

Florence T. (DeRoma) DePaulis, 94, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully October 17, 2021 at St. Camillus Health Care Facility with family by her side. She was born in Syracuse to the late Grazio and Stella (Fortunato) DeRoma and attended North High School. Prior to marriage, Florence worked as a dental assistant for the Onondaga County Health Department but was most proud of her time spent raising her children and caring for her family. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Society. Florence enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling to Las Vegas, and playing the lottery. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph S. DePaulis in 1992; siblings: Tomasina Hug, Josephine Vecchio, Frances DeRoma, Marie Marco and Angelo DeRoma. Florence is survived by four children: Julia (Donald) Mosher, Joseph (Sharon) DePaulis, Mark (Patti Jackson) DePaulis and Jody (Gregg) DePaulis-Humphrey; grandchildren: Donald and Sean Mosher, Ashley DePaulis, Danielle and Ryan DePaulis; great-grandchildren: Justin, Jason and Megan Mosher; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Brooklyn. Special thanks to Marcy Lake, Jordon Sass and Elaine Braun for their care during the past few years. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Florence’s life at 10:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
