Joseph A. Ezzo

Joseph A. Ezzo, 67, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 8, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse to Francis Jr. and Lucy (Ingallinera) Ezzo and worked for 20 years as a salesman for Material Handling Products, Corp. in Syracuse. Physical fitness was very important to him, he always stayed active by having many activities and hobbies. He enjoyed planning and hosting his annual 4th of July party. Joe recently became a self-taught drummer; he loved to entertain, especially his family and friends. He also had an interest in cars and loved to landscape his yard. He is predeceased by his mother, Lucy Ezzo and his grandparents, Frank and Florence Ezzo. Joe is survived by his daughters, Kerry (Tim) Caves and Natalie Ezzo; his stepdaughter, Brittany Wisk; grandchildren, Ariel and LCPl Blaed Wiechmann; his father, Francis J. Ezzo, Jr.; his siblings, Tim (Karen) Ezzo, Sue Rudy and Butch Ezzo; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Upstate University Hospital for their outstanding care. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 4:30 – 7:00 PM followed by a funeral service in celebration of Joe’s life at 7:15 PM at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HumaneCNY, 4915 W. Taft Rd. Liverpool, NY 13088.
