Sarah L. (Kuzio) Cavaliere Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sarah L. (Kuzio) Cavaliere, 44, of Liverpool, passed away at home on October 11, 2021. She was born in Syracuse, was a 1994 graduate of Liverpool High School and attended OCC. Sarah was employed at Upstate Medical University as an Accounts Receivable Manager; she also worked part-time at Upstate Hospital in the COVID-19 Unit. Sarah enjoyed vacationing with friends, taking care of her dogs, and spending time with family. She was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Nicholas J. and Nicolina Mastry, George and Martha Kuzio. Sarah is survived by her son, Christian Scaia (Katie Carter) of Corning, NY; her daughter, Grace Scaia of N. Syracuse; her grandson, Oliver Scaia of Corning, NY; parents, August and Angela Mastry Pennacchia; her sister, Leah (Charles) Blakeman of Clay, NY; biological father, George A. Kuzio, Jr.; nephews: Owen and Mason Blakeman; several aunts, uncles and cousins; along with her beloved dogs, Luna, Apollo, and Mojo. Her family would like to thank Sarah’s dear friends, Shaun and Megan Cavaliere for all their help, love and support. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Sarah’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Per the family’s request, all attendees are asked to wear a facial covering. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sarah’s name may be made to Recycle-A-Bull Bully Breed Rescue, Inc.
