Sharon A. Lavine

January 2, 1945 - October 2, 2021

Sharon A. Lavine, 76, passed away on Saturday at her home. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Dorothy Gallinger and Stanley Eibert. Sharon was a stay-at-home mom, dedicated to taking care of her family. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed doing word puzzles. Sharon loved everyone she met and loved spending time with family and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Andy Anderson. Sharon is survived by her husband, Howard Lavine; four children, Stanley (Jackee) Lavine, Shaina (David) King, Johnathan (Renee) Lavine and Jessica Bonham; grandchildren, Machaela, Stanley, Logan, Ryan, Vanessa, Lana, Zachary and Jacob; three sisters, Merri Austin, Leora Halpin and Rebecca Handchu. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Sha’arei Torah Orthodox Congregation section at Oakwood Cemetery.
