It’s 4PM ON MARCH 23rd, and the calling hours for Debbie are just beginning. I’m 1,200 miles away, but in my minds eye, I see lines of heartbroken friends and family waiting patiently to get inside to say good bye. I see this because I got to know Debbie a few years before we moved to Florida. It didn’t take long for everyone she met to know they were with a very special lady. I’ll never forget the beautiful smile that was the window into a beautiful soul. Genuine, generous, caring, and loving all on the inside, drawn to her by the beautiful face and infectious smile. She’ll always be a source of wonderful memories. I know how lucky I am to have Debbie touch my life, and now in my heart.

My deepest condolences to Paul and to the entire family. Debby always had such a great light around her. Always that amazing smile!!! Growing up she was like a cousin to me. Our parents were best friends, we all kind of grew up as family. The memory’s of my days in jr and senior high school with Debby were and will always be very special to me.

Debbie and I were in homeroom together at CHS. She was a good-natured, upbeat soul, athletic and a pleasure to be around. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
