I was in Mrs. Jakubowski’s class in 2012-2013, and it was clear that she was very passionate about educating and really wanted her students to be successful. I’m so sorry for your loss

I worked with Sue for a good number of years in the Syracuse City School District. I met her when she was getting certified. Sue had the drive and ambition to do well. That carried over into her regular teaching years. She was not only respected by her students and former students but her colleagues and administrators.

We are so deeply sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. She was a true friend, a fabulous cook, fun to be with and one of the most intelligent women I knew. We had so much fun together from sitting on my front steps every day at 11 am with coffee and then later in the day with a different beverage, and many years of adventures together. We became friends immediately after meeting in 1976. We shared so many happy times and were there together for sad times. Our love and thoughts are with Jeff,Melissa,Dave, Jeffrey and Andy.
