Kevin J. Davis

Kevin J. Davis, 71, of North Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. He was born on July 18, 1953, to the late Robert R. and Dorothy L. Davis. After graduating from North Syracuse High School in 1973, Kevin began his career in purchasing with ABL Mechanical. He worked on several notable projects, including Fort Drum and locations in Deposit, New York. Despite the long drives, Kevin's dedication to his work was evident. Later, he transitioned to working alongside his brothers in their businesses—one in countertops and another in display cases. Kevin’s knowledge of purchasing, along with his deep industry relationships, made him an invaluable asset. In his semi-retirement, Kevin continued working with his brother, helping with operations. Known for his sharp wit, Kevin was a master at engaging people in conversations, often with a twist that would leave everyone thinking. Whether he was joking, “I’m busy doing nothing,” or reminding others to “remember the kiss method,” Kevin had a way of bringing lightness and humor to any situation. A lifelong Beatles fan, Kevin was an avid collector of Beatles memorabilia and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the band’s music, often providing impromptu history lessons while listening to their albums. In addition to his love for music, Kevin enjoyed golfing, playing softball, and spending time with friends at local diners and taverns, especially Dee’s Diner, where he had grown a second family over the years. Kevin was known for his passion for solving the world’s problems—usually with a cup of coffee and good company. Kevin is survived by his sister, Beverly (Raymond) Linduski of Mexico, NY; brothers, Robert (Debbie) of Gilbert, Arizona, Keith (Barbara) of North Syracuse, NY and Gerard (Kathy) of Wilton, CT; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, who brought him much joy. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, immediately followed by a prayer service at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd.
