Zachary Forest Nolan

Zachary Forest Nolan (ZFN), 31, known for his infectious smile and contagious laugh, passed away on January 30, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Zach was born in Syracuse on December 26, 1993, and spent his entire life battling health issues. Although profound, he never let it define him. Born with a fatal liver disease- Biliary Atresia, Zach was the recipient of a liver transplant, at just eleven months old. Although cut short, Zach built a life with his beautiful wife Rachel and their two beloved daughters- spending time together, creating lasting memories. Zach grew up in Liverpool, and was highly active throughout his childhood life from, mastering the art of golf and baseball, to landing hat tricks in hockey. He had a passion for speed and thoroughly enjoyed skiing and riding his Harley, with friends. Zach, a well-mannered young man (he won awards in grade school, ya know) enjoyed gaming, music, camping, fishing, McDonalds Pancakes, Rice Krispies, Cheerios, and most of all, his family. Zach was employed by Liverpool Central School District Transportation Center, where he worked as a Bus Driver. Zach’s ubiquitous sense of humor and charming personality made him adored by many, especially his beloved Grammy and Grandpa (Michelle & Stephen Parker). The bond Zach shared with them is one to be admired. Zach is survived by his wife, Rachel (Adams) Nolan; two daughters, Elena Nolan and Madison Nolan; his mother, Leslie (Vincent) Pellizzeri; his father, Joseph Nolan; grandparents, Stephen and Michelle Parker, and Sharon Nigro; his siblings, Dylan Muldovan, Debra Todd, Vinnie Pellizzeri, Noah (Rivera) Parker, Max Nolan, Joseph Nolan, Quinn Wahl, Anthony Pellizzeri and Gianni Pellizzeri; his mother and father-in-law, Lisa and Ken Adams. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, immediately followed by a celebration of Zach’s life by sharing a cherished memory or special moment at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR.
