Robert "Bob" L. Gratton II

Robert “Bob” L. Gratton II, 63, of Syracuse, passed away April 16, 2024, at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in South Florida. Following high school, he enlisted and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Robert’s first job after the military was in Law Enforcement as a Police Officer in Florida. Robert was skilled in many trades before rising to Vice President of Global Customer Support at CareFusion in San Diego, CA. After a successful career, Bob retired from this position to focus his time on his family, friends, and hobbies. Robert loved riding his Harley and enjoyed driving all types of cars and trucks. He was an avid outdoorsman who took pleasure in hunting, fishing, boating, scuba diving, going to the beach and traveling. Bob was an enthusiastic collector of watches and guns, and loved using his smoker any chance he could to entertain family and friends. Bob will always be remembered for his strength, resilience, compassion, and faith in Christ. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Friend, and Mentor who never hesitated to put others before himself. His Life impacted many and will be missed by all. He was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Gratton; his brother, Mike Gratton and mother-in-law, Donna Stinziano. Robert is survived by his wife of 13 years, Dina Stinziano; his children, Robert L. (Kara) Gratton III, Joshua R. Gratton (fiancé, Haley Corbally), Mia E. Guariano, Robby F. Guariano and Jessica Krosecky; his grandson, Xander L. Gratton; his mother, Rita (Neron) Gratton; his longtime best friend, Larry A. Levine; his two beloved dogs, Teddy and Fredo; siblings, Mark, Matthew, Mitch, and Rick Gratton; along with several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service with Military Honors in celebration of Robert’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR.
