I just read about Addie’s passing. It broke my heart, when I read her obituary. She was such a lovely lady. We met, so many years ago, when we worked at General Electric on Farrell Road. We use to love playing cards at lunchtime. She always loved winning. We use to spend a lot of time together after I left General Electric, & she retired. I would go over to see her, when she lived on Speach Road, & when she lived in her apartments in Liverpool & Raddison. We lost touch, after a while, especially when she moved to an assistant living facility. She will deeply be missed. Even though, I haven’t seen her in a while, she was always in my thoughts. Just know, she will always hold a special place in your hearts, & she will always be watching over all of you.

So sorry hearing the news of Aunt Adaline’s passing. Such a fun loving, pleasant person, you couldn’t help but feel good being around her. She was always laughing! I’ll especially treasure my phone calls with her. Teasingly greeting her with “Adaline?” she knew it was me and I’d hear that contagious laugh of hers. From stories long ago, discussing recipes, to our shared love of potatoes any way we could get them, we’d always end up laughing our way through our conversation. She’d always tell me how grateful she was so cared for by you, David and Pat, and your children. Know that we share your grief at this time and that we’re thinking of you. Your memories will bring you great comfort. I’ll always remember that smile and her laugh! She will be greatly missed by all.

Dear Addie: You were such a loving person and provided me with so much comfort and guidance when your niece Patty passed away. Though it has been almost ll years since that time, we kept in constant touch and you always had a smile on your face and in your voice when we talked. I can't believe someone I spoke to the day before Christmas is now a loving memory. Rest in peace Addie, you surely deserve it.
