Afifeh Tadros' Obituary
Afifeh Tadros, 62, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Saturday, May 18th at Community General Hospital.
Ms. Tadros was a native of Jaffa, Israel and immigrated with her family to the United States in 1974. She was a very skilled seamstress and has worked for Addis & Deys, Learbury and most recently, David's Bridal. Bridal being a specialty and favorite of hers. She was a member of Saint Elias Orthodox Church.
Afifeh will always be remembered for her kind hearted spirit, warm disposition and generosity.
She was predeceased by her father, Edmond Tadros in 1999 and her sister, Nadia Mounayer in 1994. Afifeh is survived by her mother, Arcadia; her sisters, Sophie Dakwar, Samira Jahjah, Tina Tadros, Nouha Wallin and Lillian Tadros; a brother, John Tadros; fourteen nieces and nephews and several cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Afifeh's life will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in Saint Elias Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
