Aivars K. Davidsons' Obituary
Aivars K. Davidsons, 85, of Syracuse, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on October 30, 2021. He was born in Latvia, son of the late Karl and Emilija Davidsons. Aivars was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and longtime Ham Radio Operator, LARC-W2AKD. He worked as an engineer for General Electric/Lockheed Martin retiring after many dedicated years.
Aivars is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rose Marie (Venuti) Davidsons; a sister, Valerie Kilbane of Cleveland, OH; nieces and nephews: Frank A. Mancari, Jennifer Stapleton, Tracy Clark and Matthew Mancari.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A funeral service in celebration of Aivars life will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the funeral home, followed by interment with Military Honors at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay, NY.
