Albert John "Al John" Capria's Obituary
Albert John “Al John” Capria, 79, passed away peacefully at the VA Hospital on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. He was the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette Capria. Al John was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1963. Al John mostly worked as an auto mechanic until closing his auto repair shop in the early 90s. He then spent 17 years driving Medicare taxi until he fully retired.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Capria; mother, Antoinette Zullo Capria; brother, Joseph Capria; and daughter, Myrle Ann Capria.
Albert is survived by his wife, Harriett Wentworth; children: Annette (Todd), Jamie (Julienne), and Nicholas (Stacy); seven grandchildren; one great grandson, and sisters: Mary Anne (Paul) Fritz and Patricia (Dick) Downs.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 5 - 7 pm with a funeral service in celebration of Albert’s life to follow at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd.
