Alberto Fabrizi's Obituary
Alberto Fabrizi, 87, of Clay, passed away peacefully at home on the one-year anniversary of his beloved wife, Sadie’s passing, September 19, 2025. He was born in Torrice, Italy to the late Enrico and Adele (Bottini) Fabrizi and emigrated to the United States at the age of 18. Soon after his arrival, he and his brother, Gino, went to meat-cutting school in Toledo, OH. Albert then continued to follow his passion and apply his meat cutting skills throughout his life. Alberto went on to work for Carrier Corp. for nearly 40 dedicated years, retiring as a crane operator instructor. He loved to garden, bowl, and play bocce – his Italian heritage was also very important to him; he was a member the Italian Heritage Club and always looked forward to volunteering at the annual Festa Italiana.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Sadie, he is predeceased by his brother, Egidio “Gino” Fabrizi.
Alberto is survived by his daughter, Adele (Joe) Commisso; his sister-in-law, Ruth Fabrizi; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
