Allan K. Smith Sr.'s Obituary
Allan K. Smith Sr., 72, of Syracuse went home to be with the Lord on Sunday. He was employed by the City of Syracuse Parks & Recreation Dept. for 16 years retiring in 1995. He was also employed by Roth Steel & the Ida Benderson Center. Alan is survived by his wife, Delores J. (Worden) Smith; his children, Allan K. Jr., Calvin, Amy Jo and Keith (Tonya); 22 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Harold & Lloyd Smith; a sister, Betty Smith; several nieces and nephews. He was loved by everyone and especially by his boss, Rita Frado. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:30 PM Friday in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd) North Syracuse on Friday from 4 to 6:30 PM. Contributions may be made on his behalf to Delores Smith at 305 Herbert St. Syracuse, N.Y. 13208.
