Amelia K. (Strange) Albino's Obituary
Amelia K. (Strange) Albino, 92, of Syracuse, passed away March 22, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Apollo, PA to the late Peter and Rachael Strange. Amelia loved playing cards and going to Bingo with Barbara, Tony, and family. She loved her family very much and looked for any reason to spend time together.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John D. Albino in 1991 and her son, John J. Albino in 2007.
Amelia is survived by her loving children, Michael (Karen) Albino, of Syracuse and Anne (Paul) Sacco, of Lakeland, FL; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Carmella) Strange; sister, Pearl Bertetto; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 am on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass and celebration of life at 9:00 am at St. Daniel Church, Lyncourt, with entombment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, March 25, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
