Amy E. (Bixler) Anderson's Obituary
Amy E. (Bixler) Anderson, 45, of Clay, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, June 8, 2020. Amy touched many lives around her and was a loving daughter, sister and mother. She graduated from Bryant and Stratton and SUNY Morrisville and had a degree in business administration. Amy dedicated her life to her son and helping others; she had a positive impact on so many lives and her infectious smile could always light up a room.
She is survived by her parents, Sheri Bixler and Gary (Sharon) Bixler; sisters, Ann Bixler and Charlene Bixler; brothers, John Bixler and Gary Bixler; a son, Andrew Anderson; a niece, Ashley Bixler; nephews, Anthony Gardynski and Bryant Bixler; aunts, Charlene Linehan and Lori Sager; an uncle, Bob Bookman; along with several cousins.
In accordance with NYS guidelines on social distancing and 25% capacity, family and friends may call on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 3 to 5 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 5 p.m. in celebration of Amy’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
