Andrea N. (Vono) Silver 's Obituary
Andrea N. (Vono) Silver, 34, of Liverpool, passed away comfortably shimmed up with her pillows at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton. Andrea attended Crouse School of Nursing and was employed as a RN at Crouse Hospital for 11 years. She enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and swimming in her pool. She loved the fall season and especially Halloween!
Andrea is survived by her husband, James N. Silver; her father, Thomas R. (Angela) Vono of Wilmington, NC; her mother, Maria C. (Gerry Michalski) Vono of Oswego; her sister, Shana L. Vono of NJ; all the nurses on 5 South at Crouse Hospital also affectionately known as her second family, and her dog Brownie. Andrea’s family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Crouse Hospital for their compassion and support.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Andrea’s life at 4:30 PM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andrea’s name to Colorectal Oncology Program, Upstate Cancer Center, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210.
