Andrew "Andy" J. Clark's Obituary
Andrew (Andy) Jay Clark , 67, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Crouse Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Syracuse, NY, Andy is the son of Floyd and Wilma Clark, and he lived in the Lakeside area all his life. After many years of service at the New York State Fair, he retired in 2019.
Andy was an avid hunter and fisherman, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially with sons, Adam and Andrew, Josh Decker, who Andy thought of as a son, as well as with many extended family and friends. A proud member of the Orchard Game Club for many years.
He is predeceased by his wife, Cynthia A. Clark (Yager), they shared 37 wonderful years of marriage together. He is also predeceased by two brothers, Dick and Dan Clark.
Andy is survived by his beloved family: sons Adam (Jennifer) Clark and Andrew (Kate) Clark, granddaughters Abigail and Andria (Clark), brother Leon (Nancy) Clark, sisters Shirley (James) Stoltz and Sharon (Richard) Salmon, sisters-in-law Shirley Clark, Donna Clark, Lorraine Devereaux and Linda Nolan, brother-in-law Jim Nolan, in addition to many nieces and nephews and a wonderful community of close and lifelong friends.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Andy’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
