Andrew Paul Camardella's Obituary
Andrew Paul Camardella, of Boynton Beach, FL., passed into the next life on Friday, December 16, 2011 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Andrew was the son of Italian immigrants, Joseph and Mary (Galimi) Camardella who predeceased their son. Andrew was raised in Syracuse, a graduate of the former North High School in 1956. Andrew was a member of Carpenters Local 11, having been taught by his father, the trade of carpentry and building. Andrew had a hand in building many sites throughout Central and Southern New York, including the Ithaca Mall. Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Susan Vanderheyden Camardella; his daughters, Theresa (Matthew) Neely of Phoenix, AZ and Kymberly Logan of Florida; his sons, Christopher (Joan) Camardella of Cicero and Joseph (Gina) Camardella of Cary, SC; eight grandchildren, his loving sister, Angeline (Andrew) Banac of Jamesville; his uncle, Cosimo Camardella of DeWitt; nieces, nephews and many cousins who loved him. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Andrew's memory be made to Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church Food Pantry.
