Andrew David Castle, age 16, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012. He was a 10th grade student at Corcoran High School. Andrew played Lacrosse and was in the Ski Club at Corcoran. He also played baseball with Valley L Read Obituary

To David Castle, you may not remember me. We graduated together many years ago. I lost my 16 yr. old daughter Corey to suicide on 10/30/2006. She was a junior at Bishop Ludden. I did not know Andrew, or any of his family, I only read about his passing in the paper. I have a son just a bit older than Andrew, and his obituary caught my attention. I noticed that he and I shared the same birthday, and I don't know what drew me in enough to watch his tribute, but it brought tears to my eyes. My heart aches for his family and friends, to lose such a handsome young man, before he had a chance to live a full life. I'm sure in his short time, that he left an impression, a footprint, and also a void in many lives. I hope that some how, you will find the strength to go on, and celebrate his life, finding some comfort in your memories, to get you through the rough days ahead. I am truly sorry for your loss.
