Andrew J. Lynch's Obituary
Andrew J. Lynch, 70, of Jamesville, NY passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Upstate University Hospital after a brief illness with his family by his side. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Andrew A. and Ima (Swan) Lynch. Andrew was a U.S. Army veteran. Andrew worked as Fleet Operations Manager for Saunders Concrete for 10 years until his retirement in 2015. Prior to Saunders he was a Diesel Technician for Ryder for 19 years.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Peter Lynch and four sisters, Marion, Ruth, Helen and Patricia.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Margaret (Schmidt) Lynch; four daughters, Christine (Jeffrey) Acker of Jamesville, Tracy (Jason Greene) Saunders of Jamesville, Kathleen (Charles) Flynn of Leroy, NY and Deborah (Mario) DeSantis of Camillus; three grandchildren, Trista Wesley (Adam Kukucka), Angela Wesley and Owen Flynn; one sister, Irene VanNess of Jamesville; brother-in-law, Joseph Zalewski, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Private burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jamesville. Family and friends may call from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
