Andrew Pascale Sr.'s Obituary
Andrew Pascale Sr., 82, of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday at James Square Nursing Home. He was born in Syracuse and worked in construction for most of his life before retiring from Onondaga County in 1989. He was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church where he played softball and also played for St. John the Baptist Holy Name Society. Andy was a member of many organizations including; the Brick Layers Union, Musicians Union and a member of the Italian American Athletic Club. He enjoyed watching softball games at Hopkins Field and spending time with his grandchildren. Andy and his wife, Dorothy won a ballroom dancing contest at St. John the Baptist. Andy was known for delivering sandwiches and waiting on people at the family business, The Sandwich Chef, were he gave new meaning to the words "speedy delivery." He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Pascale. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Ferazzoli Pascale of Liverpool; his brother Tony’s wife Millie Pascale of Liverpool; son, Andrew (Josie) Pascale, Jr., of Liverpool; daughter, Roseanne Pascale of Liverpool; 4 grandchildren, Aaron Pascale (Emily Casey), Alan (Jamie) Pascale, Jacob and Jonathan Pascale; 1 great-granddaughter, Isabella Pascale; 2 step-granddaughters, Lucia Camarda and Carissa (Will) Brown; 2 step-great grandchildren, Richard and Dakota Willsey;, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM in the Family Funeral Chapel and 10:00 AM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 PM in the Family Funeral Chapel.
