Andrew J. Torio's Obituary
Andrew J. Torio, 91, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse. He was born in and was a lifetime resident of Syracuse. Andy served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a manager of the furniture department at Shoppers Fair prior to joining Penfield Manufacturing and was also a member of the Italian American Athletic Club.
He was predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Andy is survived by his long time companion of 48 years, Sharon Woznick of Syracuse and his sister, Connie Picciotto of Baldwinsville along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Raynald Yudin officiating in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
