I am shocked and deeply saddened to learn that Mr. Tursi pased away!!! I was googling his number (I live in Sweden for the last 10 yrs or so) wanting to get in touch with him and came across an orbituary... Andy, the men, the myth, the legend... Best lawyer I ever met, cool biker, rocker...
My deepest condolences to the family, especially to Roxanne who I met.

Dear Ann and all the Tursi family, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Ande. He was truly a a unique person . Gifted with so many talents. The best of which was that of being a true friend. I cherish the memories of our times at CBA and Niagara University.
I am saddened by Andy's passing. I remember him fondly from our junior and high school years. My prayers are with the family. So very sorry. Karen (Renna) DesRosiers.
I love Andy Tursi. We played against one another when he played for the Westvale Tigers and I played for the St. Peter's Keymen of the Pop Warner football league back in 1958 & '59. Then, we played on the same team when we were at CBA in '61 & 62. We had a passion for sports in those days, then we both sort of grew into and enjoyed the excitement of entertaining and music. It was always enjoyable to be in his presence. He had a wonderful smile, a laugh that was infectious, and a athletic talent that seemed to be unlimited. He would stop by my home in Westvale when he would come into Syracuse and we would reminisce of old times and laughed a lot. I spoke with Andy about a year ago, and though I knew he was battling with his illness, I sensed his inner strength to combat whatever life brought his way. Andy was a very special man, and I am honored to have known him.
My prayers are with all of Andy's Family. He had many that loved him.

Please accept my sincere condolences. Even thought I haven't seen Andy in several years, my memory as best friends through our high school and college years brings a smile to my face. At a time like this, I regret that our lives took a path that separated our friendship. I'll always remember our fun experiences at the Tursi house, Pop Warner football, biddy basketball and summer vacations riding our motorcycles. As I write this, my emotions of loss is very present, but I am grateful that we shared an important part in each other's life. Andy lived a grand life and I celebrate his accomplishments. Dear Ann,
I’m deeply saddened by the passing of your brother. I remember you and I starting school the same day in 4th grade. While attending high school we managed to get into a bit of trouble when your mom worked nights at the Manor and your dad managed the Sahara Motel next to it. We were always worried that Andy-boy would tell on us but I also recall he wasn't above taking a bribe. I think the going rate was $5.00. 😉
I also recall your dad was very active with Pop Warner and Ande played for them, too. We went to a lot of football games at the old Solvay High School field.
It's hard to know what to say at a time like this but I trust you and the rest of the family know you're in our thoughts. Ande won't be forgotten and he’ll live on in your hearts and memories. 💕
