Angela C. (Pensabene) DiPaola's Obituary
Angela Carmella (Pensabene) DiPaola, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. Camillus Nursing Home. She was born in Calabria, Italy to the late Antonio and Maria (Crisalli) Pensabene. Angela enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, and going on trips with the “Golden Girls”.
She is predeceased by her husband Peter A. DiPaola; son-in-law, George Sorrendino; siblings, Domenic, Savario, and Josephine Pensabene.
Angela is survived by her loving children, Patti (Jim) Freeman, Carol Sorrendino, Cynthia (Doug) Biales, Peter (Kristy) DiPaola; grandchildren, Lisa, Joseph, Amy, Mario, David, Michael, Julia, Caley, and Stephen; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Angela’s life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
