Angela (Bellomo) Falcone's Obituary
Angela (Bellomo) Falcone, 94, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Auburn, NY and attended North High School. Angela enjoyed playing cards, especially Pitch and Gin Rummy. She was also an avid golfer and a member of Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club in Syracuse and El Conquistador Country Club in Bradenton, Florida where she and her husband “Nini” spent their winters. Angela loved sharing her specialty Christmas cookies with her family and many friends and neighbors.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony “Nini” Falcone in 1997.
Angela is survived by her four daughters, Nan (Larry) Pardee of Skaneateles, Natalie (Pat) Dooley of Syracuse, Tia Greno of Buffalo and Mary (Mike) Ilacqua of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren, Natalie (Heath), Tony (Kristin), Beth (Brian), Allen (Jane), Kate, Clare, Meredith, Michael (Jen), Alex and Mark; nine great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Angela’s life at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
