Angela "Angie" Marziale's Obituary
Angela “Angie” Marziale, 80, went home in the arms of the Lord to join God and her family in heaven. Angie was a lifelong resident of Jamesville and proud of being born and raised on the “Back Road”. She was the youngest child of the late Giacomo “James” and Dionisia (Gabriele) Marziale. Angie retired after 36 years with the Jamesville Dewitt School District Board of Education Office. She was a tireless volunteer for St. Mary’s and Holy Cross parishes and took pride in her community; participating with the Jamesville Museum, Friends of Jamesville Beach, Quilting Club and the Francis House.
She was predeceased by her siblings and her beloved cats, Jewels, BC and Cutie Pie.
Angie is survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family extends their gratitude to Miriam McGann, Michelle Dykes and Hospice of CNY for their compassionate care.
Funeral services in celebration of Angie’s life will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Cross Church, Dewitt. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNY Cat Coalition, CNY SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
