Angelina Haffner's Obituary
Angelina (Lombardo) Haffner, 81, of Syracuse passed away Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Canaan, Ct., resided in Syracuse most of her life and was a communicant of St. Daniel’s Church. She had been formerly employed by P&C Foods and then by the Lyncourt School System where she ran the “Lunch Program” for over 20 years. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the nurses on 2-8 at St. Joseph’s Hospital for loving care they gave to Angelina. Angelina was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Mary (Reppi) Lombardi and two brothers Steve and Dan Marchitello. She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Carl J. Haffner, Jr., her 5 children : Virginia A. (David) Noce, of Baldwinsville, Carl J. Haffner III, of Syracuse, Patricia Prior, of Syracuse, Kathleen M. (Kenneth) Turcotte), of Florida, Deborah J. Haffner, of Syracuse, 3 grandchildren: Ryan Turcotte, Jamie Noce, and Samantha Prior, her sister: Theresa (John) Bozzuto, of Syracuse, her GrandDog Fritz and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Angelina’s life will be held at 8:00 A.M. Wednesday in the Thomas J. Pirro, Jr. Funeral Home and at 9:00 A.M. in St. Daniel’s Church. Entombment will be in the Woodlawn Mausoleum. Family & Friends may call at the funeral home 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd., North Syracuse, Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M.
