Angeline C. "Angie" DeMascoli's Obituary
Angeline C. “Angie” (Fichera) DeMascoli, 88, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Paolo and Nunziata (Puglisi) Fichera. Angie was employed with the Syracuse City School District for 20 years before working at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 11 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bartholomew DeMascoli in 1961 and her sister, Mary D’Augustino.
Angie is survived by her son, Anthony P. DeMascoli of Chicago, IL; her “other son”, Markus Carter of Syracuse; her sister, Anna (Elio) Lombardi of Syracuse; her nephew, Domenico (Alice) Lombardi, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Angie’s life at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
