Angeline (Farnett) Fortino, 86, of Syracuse passed away Friday with her loving family by her side. She had been employed by Wegmans on James St. for 11 years and was a longtime communicant of St. Daniel's Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband John P. Fortino in 1990 and her four sisters: Carmella Mancini, Rose DeMascole, Tina Mancini, and Betty Russo. A special "Thank You" to Angie's Angels - Dani, Debi, Kim , Ann for their loving care of Angie for the past 7 years, and Gen for being the best friend everyone wishes they had. Also a special thanks to Dr. Michael Vertino and Dr. Peter Christiano and his entire nursing staff at CNY Family Care for their constant support, guidance and most of all, LOVE. Surviving are 2 sons: Bob (Toni) Fortino of Brewerton ,NY and John (Paulette) Fortino, of Syracuse, NY . Seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.. A Funeral Mass in Angeline's honor will be celebrated at 12:10 PM Monday December 9th in St. Daniels Church. Entombment will be in the Woodlawn Mausoleum. Family and Friends may call at the Thomas J. Pirro, Jr. Funeral Home 3401 Vickery Rd. North Syracuse Monday December 9th from 9:00AM to 10:30 AM.
