Angelo D. Angeloro Jr.'s Obituary
Angelo D. Angeloro, Jr. was a beloved friend to so many people; his charisma and caring nature made him a favorite of many. He was born on May 22, 1953, and passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024, at the age of 71. Angelo was the youngest son of the late Angelo Sr. and Frances (Colozzi) Angeloro. He took great pride in the family's name of Angelo which can be traced back to his great-grandfather in Italy and was the third Angelo in four generations of the Angeloro family. He spent his career in the restaurant and hospitality industry and even owned his own restaurant for a time. Angelo was raised in Syracuse and spent many years working in Las Vegas. As his aging parents began to need support, he stepped up and returned to Syracuse to take care of them.
He will be remembered as a great friend to many and most importantly a loving and caring man to his family; he was especially generous to his nieces, nephews, and close friends. Angelo will long be remembered as one of the "good guys" in life.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Daniel.
Angelo is survived by his brother, George (Connie) Angeloro; his brother, David of Sydney, Australia; his sister-in-law, Jeanette Angeloro; along with 6 nieces and nephews, George A. and Gary Angeloro, Jennifer Angeloro Schmidt, Nicole Angeloro Fantasia, and Dominque and Danielle Angeloro of Sydney, Australia.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. A funeral service in celebration of Angelo’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
