Angelo "Andy" Bechard's Obituary
Angelo “Andy” Bechard, 90, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Rouses Point, NY, son of the late Armand and Bertha (Filion) Bechard. Andy was a dairy broker, working for Dairylea, H. P. Hood, and The Charles Steube Co. Inc. He enjoyed camping with his wife along the St. Lawrence River and at Bass Lake. Some of his favorite past times were playing croquet and Rummy 500 with his family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie (Gauvin) Bechard, five sisters and four brothers.
Andy is survived by his daughters, Carlene Briggs of East Syracuse, Rebecca (Chad) Eassa of Syracuse and Jennifer (Gary) Ingerson of Baldwinsville; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; his brother, Armand “Junior” Bechard; nephew, Thomas (Kim) Trombley, as well as many other beloved nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held for immediate family only. Andy will be laid to rest beside his wife at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum in DeWitt, NY.
