Angelo J. Rinaldi's Obituary
Angelo J. Rinaldi, 88, passed away May 7, 2019 with his children by his side after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Angelo was born in Syracuse, NY and graduated from North High School. He then served in the Korean War before graduating from Le Moyne College and receiving a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. Angelo practiced law for over 50 years. He was an avid golfer and the most mild mannered and loving husband, father and friend. He spent 50 years with his wife Rita enjoying travel, golf and spending time with friends and family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Elvira (Tarolli) as well his loving wife Rita (Barnello) Rinaldi; sisters, Antoinette Rinaldi, Betty Prietti and brother, John Rinaldi. Angelo is survived by his three children, Angelo A. and Pam Rinaldi of Dewitt, Gina and Tom Loewenguth of Rochester, Nikki R. and Pat Platenik of Dewitt; eight grandchildren: Caitlyn, Cameron, Corey and Cara Lee Rinaldi, Maddie and Sophia Loewenguth, Karley and Casey Platenik; along with his nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in celebration of Angelo’s life will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
