Angie M. Ballard's Obituary
Angie M. (Basile) Ballard, 87, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of North High School. Angie was formerly employed with Flah & Co. for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church and a former member of Holy Trinity Seniors and St. Therese Society. Angie loved cooking and baking for her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank M. Ballard in 2008. Angie is survived by her children, Michele A. Seitz of Syracuse and James E. Ballard of Blossvale, NY; 2 grandchildren, Stephan (Danielle) Seitz of DeWitt and Paul Seitz of Lyncourt; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 9:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY and 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. Angie's family would like to express a special "Thank You" to her caregivers, Jeanne, Tammy, Tina, Cindy, Marilyn and Kelly for enabling Angie to remain in her home. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or any animal shelter of one's choice.
