Angie S. DeSantis' Obituary
Angie S. (Circello) DeSantis, 81, of North Syracuse, passed away Friday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and was a union steward and machine operator with General Electric for 43 years before retiring in 1994. Angie was very active in several local benevolent and political organizations. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing cards, singing and dancing. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Salvatore Notaro and Felicia (Fiore) Notaro and brother, Ralph Notaro. Angie is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Thomas G. DeSantis; 2 daughters, Diana (Rick) Cua of TN and Felice Clark (Larry Perkins) of North Syracuse; 7 step-children, Donna DeSantis (Dave Palmer) of Liverpool, Thomas (Ellen) DeSantis of Phoenix, NY, Joseph (Lori) DeSantis of Oswego, Gary (Sandy) DeSantis of Clay, Tony DeSantis (Sheila Casper) of Oswego, Jimmy (Kelly) DeSantis of Lakeland and Guy (Cindy) DeSantis of Ira, NY; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; her sister, Chancy Tortora of Syracuse along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm with a funeral service immediately following.
