Ann (Misiano) Corcoran's Obituary
Ann (Misiano) Corcoran, 72, of Syracuse, succumbed on Sunday at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Margaret and Peter Misiano. After retiring from New York Telephone and AT & T, she worked part-time for Carpenter and Hughes and Kavanaugh and Marshall. Ann was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and also St. Jude and St. Anthony societies. She was very active in the Republican Party and was a member of Our Lady of Pompei Choir for more than 25 years. Ann is survived by her husband, William L. Corcoran; her sister, Carmel (William) Bowen of Liverpool; 3 step-children, an uncle and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 9:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY and 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Transverse Myelitis Association, c/o Sanford J. Siegel, 1787 Sutter Parkway, Powell, OH 43065-8806.
