Ann Marie (Valentino) Nave's Obituary
Ann Marie (Valentino) Nave, 68, of Jamesville, NY, passed away peacefully at home in the loving presence of her family on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Born and raised in Syracuse, Ann Marie was the daughter of the late Carmen and Caroline (Reale) Valentino. She graduated from Henninger High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College. Ambitious and determined, Ann Marie became the first female accountant at Testone and Marshall—breaking barriers with strength and grace. She later brought that same dedication to her husband’s medical practice, Family Medicine Associates, where she handled the accounting and brought warmth, care, and dedication to everyone around her.
Family, however, was always her true calling. Ann Marie was the proud matriarch of her close-knit family — fierce in her love and unwavering in her protection of those she held dear. She was the one who made every holiday sparkle a little brighter and every meal feel like a celebration. Her home was filled with the aroma of her favorite Italian dishes, the sound of laughter, and the warmth of her open heart. She also deeply valued her friendships, nurturing lifelong bonds with the same loyalty, generosity, and love she gave to her family.
She loved to travel and explore new cultures, and she especially delighted in attending theater performances, always eager to experience the music and stories that moved her.
Ann Marie is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Dr. Dennis Nave; five loving children, Kristen Nave, Kathryn (Justin) Lippincott, Andrea Nave, Dennis (Kara) Nave, and Allison (Vasilis) Katsikis; and eight treasured grandchildren, Louis and Luca Rappa, Giacomo and Alessia Lippincott, Luciana and Lunetta Nave, Stilianos and Valentinos Katsikis. She also leaves behind her siblings, Carol Ann Valentino, John (Nicole) Valentino, and Susan Valentino, and brothers-in-law Charles (Elizabeth) Nave and Marino Nave along with many nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who will miss her deeply.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to LaKesha Martin-Hargrett, whose compassionate care and companionship over the past several years were a blessing to Ann Marie and her loved ones.
