What wonderful memories I have of your Mother. She was such a good friend to my Mom, Sophie. Living just a few houses away on Carbon St, I can still hear her call Joey's name, as he was always playing at our home! Whenever I would visit Mary, Ann was always busy in the kitchen cooking or cleaning.

We are deeply saddened by your mom's passing. Aunt Annie was a beautiful person - kind, caring, thoughtful, and loving, She had a heart-warming smile, an amazing brain, and was always a joy to talk with. She loved her family / our family, and her presence always made our family get-togethers more precious and memorable. Mary, Pat and Joe - how very sorry we were to hear of the passing of Aunt Annie. As you well know she was one of our favorite people. Always smiling (as in the picture). She and her love Uncle Joe are now together. I know how hard it is to lose a mother as mine passed just last year. I will always remember her kindness and never a harsh word about anyone. We are so saddened by your mom's passing, and we are sending you our love and our heartfelt sympathy. Over the last few years, she and my mom spoke at least once a month, and these conversations always gave my mom such a lift--invariably I would hear them laughing together-- (off course the laughter was always preceded by one telling the other that she couldn't hear!)--and the sound of your mom's laughter brought back warm and wonderful memories of long ago. I will hold forever in my heart these memories of her and her wonderful sense of humor and brilliant mind.
