Anna Luigia (Ferri) Anelli's Obituary
Anna Luigia (Ferri) Anelli, 98, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Italy, immigrating to the U.S. in 1963. She was a seamstress in Italy and enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting and making homemade pasta. She especially loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Violante Anelli in 2003.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Maria Bottone, Anna (Salvatore) Strazzeri, and Eralda (Richard) Walters; grandson, Mauro Bottone; granddaughters, Tania Blasi, Shirley Strazzeri, Marina Tully, Rita Tatem, Rachael Daly, Danielle Eacobacci and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Anna’s life at 10:30. A.M. at The Franciscan Church of the Assumption. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
