Anna L. (Cantalupe) Brisky's Obituary
After a long and happy life, Anna passed in peace on Saturday at the age of 90. With a twinkle in her eye and a mischievous smile, her nickname of “Frisky Brisky” was well deserved. She was a social butterfly, a fabulous cook, fun-loving, family oriented, a music and dance enthusiast, a loyal friend, silly and a TRUE GEM.
Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Chuck Brisky in 1985 and her dear friend, Bob Dunham in 2014.
Among those who will miss and love her forever are daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Kevin Murphy; son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Chuck, Karen and Liliana Brisky; her “favorite” brother and sister-in-law, John and Sandra Cantalupe; nephew, Peter and his wife, Andrea and their son, Christopher Cantalupe and cherished friends and extended family.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Anna’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
