Anna L. Creno's Obituary
Anna L. (Skillaci) Creno, 91, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in LeRoy, NY, Anna attended schools in Rochester, NY and retired from Prestolite Corp in Syracuse. Anna loved to play cards, especially Pinochle with the ladies at Centerville Court and enjoyed taking bus trips to Casino's. She especially enjoyed spending time with her large family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank in 1992; her daughter and son in law, Jennie and David Rein and son, Michael J. Creno. She is survived by her daughter, Constance (Floyd "Skip") Smithers, her grandchildren, Christopher (Colleen), Susanne, Stephan (Maryanne), Eric and Ken Smithers, Debbie (Rick) Blair, Christine (Bill) Wicks, David Rein, Michelle (Michael) Tassone, Teresa Murray, all of Syracuse, Rebecca (Bruce) Padula of New Jersey, Jennifer Creno, Michael Creno, both of Syracuse; her sisters, Jennie Militello and Clara Barone of Rochester; sister in law, Elizabeth Creno of Syracuse; daughter in law, Karel Creno of Syracuse; nieces, Edith Collura, Joann (Dick) Mura and Antoinette (Creno) Pallotta; 20 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and many other special nieces, nephews and friends.
Anna's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff on 1-4 and 2-8 at St. Joseph's Hospital and to the staff at Sunnyside Care Center.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
