Anna "Ann" H. (Cutuli) Louise's Obituary
Anna “Ann” H. (Cutuli) Louise of Eastwood passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on April 18, 2023. A devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna was born on November 24, 1920 to Sam and Santa Cutuli. She had been a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church since 1945.
Anna married the love of her life, Harry Sr. on September 4, 1943. They moved to Eastwood in 1945, and with Harry’s brother Pat, they established Louise Brothers Meat Market. For 40 years, they provided service to Eastwood residents and were ahead of their time offering credit and free grocery delivery. Many friendships were cultivated during those years and continued on through life. They retired in 1984 and remained in Eastwood, a place they loved.
As well as managing the store, Anna enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and sharing with others. You would never find her without a smile on her face and kind words for all.
Her greatest joy were the times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would welcome all into her home. Her cooking, baking and care for others was second to none.
Anna was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Harry Sr. of 67 years; sisters, Ida Greco, Lucy Greco, and Mary Cavallaro, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Anna is survived by her son, Harry Jr. (Anne Drescher); grandchildren, Maria (Shane Chimber), Laurie (Joseph DiCaprio), and Matthew (Kara); great grandchildren, Tanner and Riley Chimber, Grace, Jacob and William DiCaprio, Teegan, Caden and CJ Louise, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Menorah Park for their kindness, friendship, and care. Many thanks as well to friends and family for their calls, visits, and cards.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Anna’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
Contributions in her memory may be made to Blessed Sacrament School, 3129 James Street Syracuse, NY, 13206.
