Anna Marie Canino DeSocio 's Obituary
Anna Marie (Canino) DeSocio of Liverpool passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Anna Marie was a graduate of Vocational High School and retired after 32 years as plant cashier at New Process Gear. Anna Marie was a member of Our Lady of Pompei Church and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. During her long and productive life, she was a charter member of the St. Therese Society and Legion of Mary of Our Lady of Pompei, the Resurrection Choir of Immaculate Heart of Mary, the World Apostolate of Fatima, Nocturnal Adoration Society, Universal Living Rosary Association, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and Italian American Heritage Club. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Joseph DeSocio; her parents, John and Anna Canino; brothers, John and Angelo (Gary) Canino and her sister, Alice Canino. Anna Marie is survived by her nephews, John (Betty) Canino; Rev. Louis Canino, ofm, Garry (Marj) Canino and David (Mary Ellen) Canino; nieces, Anna Marie (Joseph) Fragnito and Marilyn (Steve) Crevelling; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces, nephews and cousins. Throughout her entire life she was loved not only by her family but also by any and everyone who knew her. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 9:00 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 4 to 7 PM. Anna Marie's family would like to express their gratitude to her wonderful caregivers and Hospice.
