Anna M. (Marnell) Garbin's Obituary
Anna M. (Marnell) Garbin, 94, of Syracuse, passed away July 30, 2022 at Sunnyside Care Center in East Syracuse. She was born and raised in Syracuse, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosa (Manipole) Marnell. Anna worked as a waitress at the Holiday Inn for many dedicated years. After retirement, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Emanuel Garbin in 1997 and her brother, Vincent Marnell.
Anna is survived by her four sons, William (Jean) Flandera, Thomas Flandera, John (Christine) Flandera and Edward (Elaine) Flandera; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 9 – 11 am, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Anna’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
