Anna Maria Lattanzio's Obituary
Anna Maria Lattanzio passed away on June 24, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born in Syracuse, NY and travelled five of the seven continents. After her retirement as a sales rep for Levi’s Strauss & Co, she settled in Asheville, NC where she discovered her love of birds and gardening. She was an avid reader and always supported her local library. Her favorite time of year was gathering with her “core” of friends in an exotic destination. She moved back to her hometown to be with her family in 2011. She assisted with the family business and spent quality time with her mother, siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was a strong advocate for truth and justice.
She was predeceased by her father Rocky Lattanzio, brother Samuel Lattanzio, and sister Roselinda Lattanzio.
She is survived by her mother, Angela Convertino-Lattanzio, siblings Nancy (Terry) Quigg, Vincent (Sue) Lattanzio, Maria (George) Wede, Angela (Nick) Saturno, and Rocco (Natalie) Lattanzio and many cousins including Karen and Maria Convertino. Nieces and nephews Laurel, Liz, Chis, Cameron, Felicia, Christina, Rocco-Luke, Kyle, Rocco, Angela, Joe, Gianna, and Enzo. Great nieces Camryn, Aubrey, and Lena.
As per her wishes, a private ceremony will be held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anna Maria’s name may be made to the Francis House 108 Michaels Ave. Syracuse, NY 13208.
