Anna M. (Fichera) Lombardi's Obituary
Anna M. (Fichera) Lombardi, 93, of Syracuse, passed away on May 17, 2022, at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Paolo and Nunziata (Puglisi) Fichera. Anna worked in the billing department at St. Joseph’s Hospital for over 25 years. She was a lifelong member of the Daughters of Columbus, serving a term on the board of directors and was also a life member of the Order of Sons of Italy in America.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her sisters, Mary D’Augustino and Angeline DeMascoli.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Elio Lombardi; her son, Domenico P. (Alice) Lombardi; two grandchildren, Domenico H. (Turku) Lombardi, Marianna Lombardi and partner, Christian Bell; her nephew Anthony DeMascoli, and many other nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Anna’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY, with entombment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
