Anna Marie "MiMi" (Capriotti) Stevens' Obituary
Anna Marie “MiMi” (Capriotti) Stevens, 79, of Cicero, passed away September 20, 2022 at The Cottages in Cicero, NY. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, daughter of the late Salvatore and Florence (Artmont) Capriotti. Prior to her retirement, MiMi was the co-owner of Genesis II Hair Replacement Studio. She was past president of the Golden Agers. MiMi enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren. With a kind heart, soft words and always a delicious meal, she was everyone’s MiMi.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Anthony and Bernard Stevens, and nine siblings.
MiMi is survived by her son, Anthony J. (Kristin) Stevens, Jr.; two daughters, Alicia (Karl) Elsner and Jeanine (Anthony) Stevenson; four grandchildren, Anthony III (Ashley), Marissa, Alicia and Bianca; three great-grandchildren, Myla, Giavanna and Anthony IV; sisters-in-law, Barbara and Anna Capriotti; a brother-in-law, Ronald Stevens, Sr., along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of MiMi’s life will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY, followed by burial at Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
