Anna Marie "Cookie" (Ferro) Ippolito's Obituary
Anna Marie “Cookie” (Ferro) Ippolito, 81, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at Loretto surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (Bennett) Ferro. She was employed by Casual Corner, a women’s clothing store for over 35 years. Cookie loved spending time with her family and many friends at the cottage on Lake Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband, Francis B. “Frankie the Hat” Ippolito in 2008; her son, Benny Pelosi III, and her sister, Rosalie Mitchell.
Cookie is survived by her daughter, Angela M. Pelosi of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Benny Pelosi IV, Dominick Pelosi, Gino Pelosi, and Zachary Pelosi; five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Alyssa, Benny Pelosi V, Michael and Frankie; her brother, Stephen Ferro of Syracuse, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Cookie's life at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
